WINNING THE WAR IN YOUR MIND

Our thoughts are powerful. They change our perspective, impact our decisions, and influence our habits. But what do we do when we become trapped by our thoughts, unable to escape negative and unhealthy thinking? Let’s learn what it means to take our thoughts captive and win the war in our minds.

I’m IN

Family comes in all shapes and sizes. Traditional families, blended families, groups of good friends…all of these are relationships that fit the form of “family” for many of us. While each of these expressions of family are a bit different, one thing they all have in common is moments of tension and conflict. This series explores a Biblical approach to navigating those awkward moments that happen between us and the people we love, from how to manage tension, to how to forgive and move forward, and even examining how conflict in a relationship can make those bonds stronger. This series will encourage you as you address the messes you encounter and strive to have more Christlike relationships.

Just Because

Love. Grace. Hope. Identity.
These are words you’ve heard thousands of times in the Church. They sound beautiful and captivating, but like any good thing over time, the constant mention of their significance can cause us to forget how powerful these concepts actually are. And even more, how personal they are. This is a deeper look at why we cannot lose sight of the beauty of God’s most profound gifts.

This is a series about new beginnings…and is focused on the idea of revival, which is literally defined as “an improvement in the condition or strength of something.
Whether as individuals, or even large groups of people. We can become distracted by the wrong things and find ourselves needing a little realignment.

A[]PART

You know how adding a space or a comma can completely change the meaning of what we write? The word apart is a perfect example of that—‘apart’ means separation while ‘a part’ means a piece, that when combined with other pieces makes up a whole.
Through the A[]Part series, our goal is to work in that space to show how each one of us is a part of God’s creation no matter our race, and that we each play a part in how the Church can lead the world in loving all people..

WHEN I DON’T SEE…

Through the When I Don’t See It series, we are going to study the journey of Abraham.
He was a guy who failed many times, yet God continued to move and work in his life. Abraham had to learn that he could not go through life trusting in what he saw, but he had to trust and have faith in what God said. The question is… are you ready to hold fast to this truth? Are you ready to trust and have faith in the God who is leading you?

ONE SMALL STEP

The story of Jonah is a whimsical tale of a man who runs from God, gets swallowed by a big fish, and decides that obedience to God is ultimately the smartest option one could live out. At least that’s the children’s story we were all raised on. The true story of Jonah is about how deep and far reaching God’s love is for all people, and how He will go to great lengths to save us… and even save the people we don’t deserve it. Jonah teaches us that one small step, either towards or away from God’s prompting, literally has the power to change people’s lives.

I Want a New Marriage

Marriage is beautiful. It’s designed to show God’s goodness & grandeur, at the same time being the deepest of all human relationships.
Marriage is also difficult. We often find ourselves confused, overwhelmed, uncertain or unmet in our expectations.
What do we do? How do we find our way back to God’s initial design and our initial dreams? In this series, we’ll explore what it looks like to see God’s perspective:
the One who designed marriage and the One who knows precisely what we need.

Ordinary Heroes

God is the Author of a grand story of redemption, and it includes you!
Esther, who was definitely a hero to her nation, was not the actual hero of the book of Esther – God is.
His name is never mentioned in this short Old Testament book, but his hand of providence is seen in every verse. Throughout the book we’re challenged to step up into God’s work, whether or not we think we have the resume for it.

DON’T STRIKE THE ROCK

Followers of Jesus are called to walk in obedience. Obedience communicates reverence…disobedience has repercussions. It’s never too late to obey.
